We have installed a funky little gizmo this morning - written by [member=alan cit] - which, when using the [member=] tag gives the member notification that they have been mentioned in a post. The notification is settable via the UCP, under Notifications, Notify me when I am mentioned in a post. The default setting is Off - so if you'd like to know when you're mentioned, go switch it on I did hehehe To make it work.. simply use the following code (removing the spaces) [ member= insertusername ]
No, that's a separate notification which is already built in. If you've got this new notification switched on, then if I type [member=Caiman] you should have got a notification saying I'd mentioned you in a post.
