No clue who done it, or long ago it was done, but nice touch i like it. And what good is a compliment without some complaining so any chance of it being on the last post per page of a thread  :hot:
Shelley did it (I assume) and I do not disagree with the suggestion, but couldn't really care. If I had to make a suggestion towards it, I'd say align it to the left, so it's not confused with the Post Controls.
Yes you have to make a suggestion with it to post in a suggestion thread Isn't that how it works? :hot:
Out of curiosity, what's the icon on the index button meant to be? It looks like some kind of turtle from here.
I thought of the idea when I was constantly getting tired of scrolling back to the top and going back to index which was (99% of the time) my landing page after reading a thread/reply. As for placement. I'm not sure about it going to the far right though I think ryans suggestion aligned to the left would be a better solution. (let's see if he noticed yet). Was there any reason why you think it shouldn't reside in it's current location? edit: re-read your post. Last post on each page. That would be something ryan would need to implement.
Pfffft, I'm not skeered of Azhria. Well, not much anyway. Errr, is that Azhria that just came in? I really need to go...
On the development style I have the unread posts (thanks to barrys suggestion) & return to index integrated, sliced as one image. There's some minor issues I need to iron out with this implementation but hopefully I can get this implemented without cluttering the area with buttons on the other styles. (preview below) It's all working as it should (no reason why it shouldn't) but what I want to do is have the feature pull alternate images as guests shouldn't view the unread posts image which means the image (index.png) will get cut so having this image using an alternative and pulling a full complete image is the final thing I'll need to apply.
Easy enough to accomplish using two images (Index/Unread Posts and single Index, like now), a conditional, and the $show['member'] var. Let me know.
