Hey guys Just while looking around the net today, saw the Namecheap actually has hosting, and pretty cheap too. I'm wondering what they're like and if anyone here has used them before. They come off to me as being a site that would only be as good as Godaddy or Hostgator, not a lot of expertise but maybe great for peeps that have static or simple sites. Anyone used them before? gogo
I'm dealing with them at the moment over a copyright violation. They sure don't respond very fast so if you want to steal content that seems to be the place to be. I've had much better response from other hosts when my stuff is stolen. On top of that I don't think they speak English as a first language or understand it very well.
I've never used namecheap so I can't comment. I use lcn.com for domain registration, but they also offer hosting. They have a non premium rate phone number with English staff who provide a great service. Have a look at this thread
