Ipb 4.0: your thoughts?

I think with all companies they need to work on and improve their vision and direction and this sounds like a pretty good direction to head in and evolve the company.

I think this is an amazing change. Being able to utilize individual products from the IPS line without needing the forum is a great change - the only thing they need to do is assure that the quality of other products is on the same level as forum, and they might see a huge expansion.

I got a few ideas myself right off--it sparked such creativity that every once in a while I think of a potential project.

I'm not surprised. The root of this idea can be seen in IPB 3.0 and on. I can't help but think other forum companies may also move toward a core + plus product. Forums are being squeezed harder by social media.

They have some good ideas and I believe this will workout nicely.
