Well IP.Board 3.3.0 Alpha was released today on the IPS Community, so anyone with a license can download it!

If you have already downloaded and installed it (hopefully on a test board) what do you think of it? Have you run in to any errors? Anything people might not have caught? Post your findings and opinions here!

I'll be installing on a test bed tomorrow. I'll give my thoughts about it after I mess with it for a while.

If you run in to the problem with the nav_bar showing Forum and Members twice, it is a skin edit you need to make on 3.3.0. They apparently recoded the way the applications show up.

Got it up and running. You can play with it here. Guest can post in all the forums. You can register if you want. In fact I'd prefer it so that we can find bugs in the registration system if there is any.

I found a bug editing the forum system preferences so far. I also have some thoughts on what to change in the new archive system. Speaking of which it is about time forum software had such as system. I am glad IPS listens to customers and implemented it. It's an infant and needs some tweaks and changes, but, it's a start.

Got this running on localhost at the moment, seems fairly stable so far. Only seen the already reported problems.
