Does anyone use these anymore? I'm going to be buying 2-3 .coms in the coming month and the deal with godaddy right now is you get a free .info of your choice per domain which i wont use.
I had a couple and let them expire. They got a bad rep from Google because they were a haven for spammer sites. Maybe that's changed now. I would still stay away from them to be sure.
thanks aws maybe ill just get them in my sites domains (as they are free with .com) then let them expire as it seems I won't be able to give them away if they have a bad rep
A lot of people would still take them, if you won't use them, maybe you can set up a contest in your forum or just offer them somewhere (like here), I'm sure someone will appreciate them and give them good use.
I used to use them for affiliate programs and such. Worked pretty good, and if you don't spam them and you do it right you can rank pretty high in google with em.
