Be careful when buying from others the license for IPB. Only IPS can sell IPB's licenses and IP add on (IP. Gallery, IP. Blog, IP. Content, etc.. Etc.) IPS does not allow its customer to resell their IPB's but only to change the personal data of the owner. It is not a small difference, in fact, if someone has more than one IPB's license, he may not sell a license to the user A and another to user B. The account owner must sell his ALL account with ALL its contents to the user A or to the user B. Eventually add on (IP. Blog. IP. Gallery etc.. Etc.) can not be sold separately but also these must be transferred together with the account that contains them. After changing the account owner, the purchaser may see all tickets that previously owner have opened in the past, all the posts he have done in the forum (including PM's if they wasn't deleted.) In the past, many "gentlemen" tried to defraud other users, and for this reason that IPS does not allow anymore the resale of licenses. Fortunately not all who sell a license for IPB is a crook. When you purchase a license of IPB from another user, remember that: 1) You are not going to buy a license but his all account; 2) IPS is NOT involved in the license sales, and they will not given any assistance if the sales show to be a fraud, they just allow the change of the account's owner. 3) Beware of low prices. IPB is perhaps the best board around, why would someone sell it at prices too cheep for a good product? A new IPB costs $ 149.99 with 6 months of free upgrades, that's why you should beware of any price below $ 100.00; 4) Who is the seller? An old member of this community with dozens of posts is certainly more reliable than a user who has just subscribed to sell a license; 5) Ask the seller to have a screenshots of his license, but beware that this may not be an absolute guarantee, because with google is quite easy to find screenshots; 6) Ask the seller send you a PM at IPS's community, to check if there he is a legitimate active customer; 7) Pay only via Pay Pal; Please report any suspicious transaction to the staff. Only if you brought each licence on a seperate account originally. If you have an account with 2 licences on, you couldn't setup a new account and transfer a licence over to it.
Send a ticket into accounts. Link them to all the profiles you want merged, and make clear what one you want them merged into.
Accounts can be merged no problem. However if you keep them in different accounts with a view to selling one or more, you need to be aware that you will not get the discount for owning 3 or more licences. The 3rd to 24th (I think) is $99 and then it goes down to just $49 per IPB licence.
