Does anyone know of a decent program for Windows (working with Windows 7 too) that allows you to download backups of your sites to your hard drive via FTP and that can be set to incremental etc and be ran automatically whenever you want.

This is the one ive already tried:

KLS Backup 2009 - Professional Backup Archive System

It has the features I need but it just doesnt seem to work for me.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Please move this if in the wrong section, I wasnt sure where to post it :)

I've heard good things about SyncBack, but honestly I've never been able to get it to work.

I don't bother my hosts take my backup every 12 hours and have it reinstalled in just minutes after contacting them.

We have our backups every night to a remote server but I plan on downloading them incrementally to my PC to make sure were safe. Syncback is working a treat :) Thanks!

Glad it's working for you, Michael! I suspect it didn't work for me because I'm running Windows XP. If anyone has experience with SyncBack on XP please feel free to correct me :)

It should work with XP based off what their site says:

Which part of it are you having issues with?

I am really enjoying it so far, got all our dbs backed up under an hour and a half and now theyre incremental each day, just running and waiting for the http files to finish backing up :)
